# Tremo

> Tremo is an AI music converter. It turns audio — or a sheet-music input — into the formats you actually work in: sheet music (MusicXML/PDF), MIDI, and separated stems. Upload a track and move straight to the next step in your workflow. Tagline: "Your sound, made useful."

Tremo is one of Flatmusic's services. It's a browser-based tool, no install needed, for composers, producers, beatmakers, arrangers, and music teachers who need to get from a recording to a usable file fast. Tremo converts your file; it doesn't grant rights to the source — you bring content you own or are cleared to use, and you own the result.

## What Tremo offers

Three conversion tools, all in the browser:

- **Audio to Sheet Music** — Converts audio into a draft score (MusicXML).
  - *Simple Melody* — Extracts a single-line melody from vocals or a lead instrument. Best for sketching an idea or capturing the main melodic line.
  - *Piano Melody* — Generates a full piano transcription with three output controls, each set to 0, 1, or 2: **Harmony** (chord density), **Rhythm** (rhythmic detail), and **Note Sustain** (articulation, from staccato to legato). The model uses these values directly, not as post-processing.
- **Audio to MIDI** — Converts a melody into MIDI notes you can drop into your DAW — useful for swapping the vocal line to another instrument or sketching an arrangement. Two models: **Voice** (isolated vocal melody) and **Piano** (clear piano or pitched instrument).
- **Audio Separation** — Isolates the instrument and vocal parts in a track, each delivered as a separate audio file. Two modes: **Vocals + Instrumental**, or **Full Stem Split** (up to 53 stems detected depending on the source — vocals, guitars, strings, bass, woodwinds, brass, keys/synth, drums/percussion; only parts present in the upload are returned).

## Inputs, outputs, and how it works

- **Input:** one audio file (MP3, WAV) upload, or one YouTube link. Multiple sources at once are not supported.
- **Output / export:** PDF, MusicXML, and MIDI (multi-selectable; choosing more formats does not add token cost). On the Free plan, Audio to Sheet Music exports PDF only — MusicXML and MIDI unlock on Light and up.
- **Results are draft-level** — a fast starting point, not a finished engraving, and may carry a margin of error. Edit and refine results in a score editor (e.g., MuseScore) or your DAW; Tremo has no in-app editor.
- **Login required** to run any conversion.

## Plans

Tremo runs on tokens. Tokens are charged once when a conversion starts — not per minute, per detected stem, per output file, or per download. Tokens for a failed attempt are returned automatically.

## Rights and commercial use

- Commercial use of outputs is allowed when they're made from content you own or are authorized to use — client work, monetized content, ads, games, audiovisual projects, performances, and commercial releases within the scope of your permissions.
- **Tremo converts your file; it doesn't grant rights to the source.** Tremo does not clear or grant copyright, recording, composition, performance, publicity, sample, or platform rights. Obtaining permissions for the source and your intended use is your responsibility.
